SAVE THE DATE!!!!!
Our annual Caraway Resource and Refresh Day will be held on Wednesday 1st April 2020,
with Dr Jennifer Bute
– keynote speaker, workshops and an opportunity to support and encourage each other. These are always well attended and valued by participants. We are fortunate to have Dr Jennifer Bute joining us to speak and to lead our worship creatively.
She has recently written a book called ‘Dementia From the Inside’, published by SPCK. She is a national advocate for the inside view of dementia and has huge spiritual insight into what it is like to have dementia and what gives you hope. “Jennifer’s passion and down-to-earth approach to dementia gives people with dementia and their families a positive view of life.”
Her website is www.gloriousopportunity.org and has many free resources on it.
Jennifer was a member at Highfield Church, has had dementia for 10 years now and now lives in Sandford Station, a purpose built dementia village in Somerset. We welcome her back.
There will be workshops covering creativity in spirituality, getting to know your community, and aspects of dementia issues.
Caraway is a registered charity. Support us to resource our older community.
