Memory Cafe’s
Southampton’s Memory Cafés are a friendly safe place to meet regularly with other families living with dementia, somewhere to share and learn from your own and other’s experiences. There is no referral process, anyone with any memory difficulties is welcome.
Representatives from Southampton’s dementia services (Often this an admiral nurse or someone from carers in Southampton, among others) are regularly on hand to answer your queries and help solve any potential issues you may be experiencing.
At the cafes there is an occasional speaker along with plenty of time to talk to other carers and volunteers. No café is complete without the opportunity for a cup of tea and some homemade cake.

We are delighted to announce that our Caraway Memory Cafes has received vital funding from The National Lottery Community allowing us to develop this essential and free service for the many families in Southampton, living with dementia.
