It offers a moment to take a pause with other carers at a range of stages in their journeys with dementia. With the focus alternating between gently informative and soothing recollections, allowing termly group space to recuperate and recharge.
We invite speakers experienced in their field to present on a particular topic and offer discussion and sharing time to learn from each other.
Carers will be supported…
We are sometimes able to accommodate care for your loved one who is living with Dementia but other times this is not possible. We will always let you know well in advance so that you have time to arrange other care if needs be.
Please get in touch with us if you are interested in finding out more about this group.
“We have made new friends who understand the situation and it’s absolutely marvellous.”

"I just wanted to say how much I am enjoying the February edition of Vintage Adventure at Home - it is packed full of interesting things. This is such a great resource for housebound people and I am very grateful to you for thinking of me....."
On receipt of Vintage Adventure at Home
I come to Vintage Adventure because , being a single person, it’s good to come to places where I meet people and I think in a big church, any groups, be it for young or old to meet people on a much smaller scale is really important like homegroups I think it is very good for the older generation to be catered for because they have certain emphases.

"Well, it is very uplifting for me as a carer, because I must say, I have felt very isolated. I didn't expect much to be honest, but talking to other carers and others living with Dementia, it uplifts us all. It really does. We have a lovely little community of friends. So Thank you."
Carer, Memory Cafe
"I enjoy seeing people who have been isolated, now connected with others and through that feeling more hopeful than they were before. Noticing people's sense of self worth increase is wonderful".
Dave, Chaplain for Dementia
