Film Afternoons and a Memory Café

HIGHFIELD CHURCH CENTRE. Every 6 weeks on a Wednesday afternoon of the month

Memory cafes and film afternoons are for people who have dementia and their carers or family member.

They are fun, company, tea and cakes.

Run in partnership with NHS Admiral nurses.

 

Partnering with our Admiral Nurses; NHS Solent

Over the past six months, Caraway, and Portswood Dementia Action Group have been partnering with our Admiral Nurses to provide an inclusive social space for those living with dementia and their carers. The Film Afternoons have proved incredibly successful with older guests from the local community joining those living with dementia. Alternate months a Memory Café is planned; the first well attended with participants from across the city
