Lordshill Memory Café is held twice a month at Lordshill Church, Lordshill District Centre.
Caraway now hosts two dementia friendly sessions a month on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. Lordshill Memory Café alternates between a themed reminiscence fostering nostalgic discussions in the second week of the month and a fun singing session in the fourth week. Our Anna Chaplain Margaret Hague continues to hold the Coffee, Cake, Connect gatherings at Lordshill Church. Running at the same time on the opposing weeks of the month, all are welcome to these Café too.
Our Memory Cafés are for those with memory problems, their carers and households living with dementia. Hosted in partnership with the Solent Admiral Nursing Team and Carers in Southampton. An Admiral nurse will be present when available.
