Course for Carers Shirley Spring 23
This exciting new course from Caraway launches in April 2023, in conjunction with We Care – Dementia Care. Each session will start with a warm welcome, as you settle into the space with refreshments and gentle mindful activity.
Our new Caraway Course for Carers, Shirley Spring 23, has been specifically designed for carers of someone with a new diagnosis (within the last 2 years) of a dementia. Running alongside Caraway Memory Cafes, the course is an introduction on how you can live well with dementia and what support networks are available throughout Southampton.

Programme:
2-2.15: Arrival and adjustment of your headspace to the session
2.15-3.15: Session part 1: We Care Dementia Care by Kellyn Lee
3.15-3.25: Break
3.25-3.50: Session part 2: What our Local Providers Offer by Guest Speaker
3.50-4: Reflection, Q&A and homework
Venue: St James Road Methodist Church, Shirley, Southampton, SO15 5HE
Course Details: Starting in April and running through to July 2023, this course will on Mondays from 2pm until 4pm.
